The brand Element Case makes some crazy and lame metal cases for iPhones and it looks like they have found a way to finagle there way into the skate game. They have a new series of cases called "Skate Legends" and with all the new hype around skateboarding in the 70's, 80's and 90's these days, the guys at Element Case are making sure to capitalize on it.
Im sorry to say but even though iPhones are insanely cool devices and they're perfect for Instagraming photos of yourself skateboarding and filming that new hot trick from time to time, they really don't have a damn thing to do skateboarding. If you want a real piece of skateboard history, don't put some second rate case on your phone that has a picture of Mike McGill's skate graphic, get the real thing and go buy a reissue deck or go on Ebay and find an original and hang it on your wall.
Believe me, you won't find any true skateboarder out there with one of these lame cases on their iPhone, but fuck, I bet all these old skate legend fuckers are making a shit load of cash for putting their names on em. Some of these god damn cases sell for $149.95! What a rip off.
