Breaking News!! Burton axes Gravis and Analog as skate brands

Well I guess its not breaking news, but it is official as about a week ago, Burton is restructuring the company and axing their skate programs.  This means that Analog will striclty be a snowboard outerwear company as it was from the beginning. Gravis will become an Asian-only lifestyle brand with its headquarters moving to Tokyo, which means unless you wanna go to Japan to Gravis shoes, you will not find them anywhere in North America, Europe or even the southern hemisphere. They are also getting rid of Forum, Foursquare and Special, but who gives a shit about those companies, they've always sucked.

And what happens to the surfers and skateboarders riding for these companies? Burton will work with each team rider individually on an exit plan to transition them out of the brands. Basically saying your fired and go fuck yourself, find someone else to ride for.

Now I'm all for companies getting back to their roots and doing what they do best, but the recent decision of Burton to restructure the company is most definitely a blow to the skate community. For the past couple years Analog and Gravis have seemingly become companies that have represented skateboarding as cool core brands, especially the team members chosen to ride for the brands.

But what can you do? Obviously Jake Burton doesn't give two shits about skateboarding, I mean why should he, he's a fuckin snowboarder. The question I have is, why spend years building these brands and skate teams and then say fuck it? Doesn't make any sense to me, but maybe Gravis and Analog were becoming "cooler" and more popular brands than Burton and Jake didn't like that so he decided to give them the axe.

Who knows why Burton decided to restructure its lame company, the only thing I know is that I'm not going to Japan anytime soon, so that means I wont be able to skate in fuckin Filters anymore. God dammit!

Dickfoot classics presents: Hot & Saucy Pizza Girls

Good morning Tuesday everyone, we jumped into the archives for this one and found an old skateboard exploitation film called "Hot & Saucy Pizza Girls." If you can stomach watching the whole thing, more power to you, but just the first part of the credits is good enough to see the epitome of a 1970's exploitation film. Plus this film has more dickfoot pushing than the DC video back in '03. Enjoy!

Speed Wobble Sunday's: Right in the nuts

No rail involved in this nut smash, just one dumb ass longboarder attempting a high speed deep throat in the middle of his race on a not so innocent bi-standard.

Geez dude you couldn't wait till after the event?

HOT NEWS - Lil Wayne new skateboarding part!!

Looks like Weezy's been practicing and decided to show off some of his new founds skills at Compton Skatepark.

Yep, you heard that correct, there is seriously a skatepark in Compton, CA. Now I'm sure Compton is a wonderful place and full of very nice people, but thats the last fuckin park you'll find me traveling to skate. I bet the only team that would have a demo at that park would be the Deathwish team, because thats what you have to have if you decide to travel through the streets of Compton to get that park.

Sorry that was off topic, but it had to be said. But reallly though this has to be Weezy, I mean look at those pants!!

In your fuckin dreams Wayne.

Icecream Icecream we all scream for Icrecream

Well not really. I didnt even realize this company was still around, amazing. Well lets watch a video from them.

Speed Wobble Sunday's first edition

Well starting this week is the first edition of speed wobble Sunday's. Speed wobbles are an everyday part of skateboarding, but when that shit goes wrong and especially when it happens to longboarders, there is nothing more hilarious.

Take are first victim, chubby guy in shorts who thinks he can conquer a hill after only being on longboard twice in his life. Fuckin dude deserved every bit grass and shrubbery stuffed into his face. So boss!

Lil Wayne opens Trukstop Skatepark

So a couple days before his 30th birthday, Lil Wayne opens Trukstop Skatepark in his home town of New Orleans. Damn, 30 Lil  Wayne? The only thing little about Wayne now is his size. Needs a name change first thing, but really it's kinda cool that Wayne is doing something to give back to his community. All the head honchos showed up to show their skills, check out Wayne's opening and demo at Trukstop.

Nice job Wayne. Check the full article below.

The most "credible" names in skateboarding have a celebration

I dont know how The Game accomplished this, but he did and managed to fit all the skateboarders that frequent the headlines of the Daily Dickfoot all in one stupid ass music video.  Shit, even Chris Brown with his lame attempts at being a skateboarder made it onto our Instragram.

Go look at our Instragram, cause there has been some good shit on there lately.

But as for the subject at hand, I dont know what more I could have asked for when I woke up this morning. One super duper mega lame rap music video with all of the people that are single handedly out to destroy skateboarding falls right into my lap to write a post about! Solid gold. So here is to you Jereme Rogers, P-Rod, Shane O'Niell, Nyjah Huston, Chris Brown and especially you Lil Wayne for making it easy on me to post awesome shit you assholes do!!

P.S. Nothing against Wiz or The Game, they're just trying to make that paper.

Whistler Longboard Skate-x-shoot yourself

Well thats what they should have done at the end of this competition. Things are pretty fucked up in Canada cause in Whistler they have something called the the Whistler Longboard festival and in this festival was a competition where longboarders were given guns, yes guns, just like in the winter Olympic Biathlon event in something called the Skate-x-shoot. In reality this half ass attempt at honoring the Olympics was nothing like the actual Biathlon and just looked stupid.  The whole idea is a a bit odd and a bit of a stretch.  Well congrats to the two goons who won the event and to the Whistler Longboard festival for succeeding in disgracing skateboarding and the Olympics all in one event.  Here is the full article:
