LIFE Magazine has a really cool gallery online of Bill Ray and Bill Eppridge's images of skateboarding during the 1960's. What is really cool though, is the photos of people skateboarding on the east coast during that time. Most people think it was all just in California, but nope they were popin off slalom races through beer cans at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut in 1965.
